We finish off Chapter Two today in our let’s read!
For those who are here to skip over the description of sexual violence, here is a quick summary of the cambion’s story.
The mother of the cambion and young girl was a kind, beautiful soul that was beloved before the apocalypse. Once the war between Heaven and Hell began, though, she struggled with her group to stay alive. A few years into the war, what was left of their group was attacked by a horde of demons.
The demons killed everyone except for the cambion’s mother. Instead, because of her beauty and innocence, they tortured and defiled her, then left her for dead. The woman was impregnated by the demon that commanded the horde, with twins no less.
Too broken to move, the woman lay where she was and waited for death, but felt the embryos developing inside her. Then, another group came upon her, who she quickly found out were angels. One of the angels said he could either heal her or attempt to purify the children inside her of their demonic essence, but could not do both. Furthermore, the birth of the children (which was imminent due to the tiny gestation period of demons), would likely kill her, regardless of whether the children were purified.
The woman wanted the children to be purified, so the angel did what he could. The first birth was successful and the angels celebrated the human child.
The second birth caused the angels to scream out things like “abomination” and “monster!” The sudden reaction forced them to stop healing the woman, who died a moment after the second birth.
