A while ago I took on a writing challenge to pen a story that was 1500 words or less. The theme for the story was New Beginnings, but beyond that was totally up to the writers. I knew where most writers were focusing on a sci-fi setting in the group, I wanted to go somewhere a little unexpected.
In Priceless, Aisling is dying. She is suffering through her last days until she meets a mysterious stranger, Attar, at the request of her mother. Priceless begs the question: what would you do for a chance at a new beginning? What would you pay?
